Security ConsultingJames P. Williams has received extensive training, on the federal level, in the area of Operations Security. He has taught many other special agents the critical techniques required to perform successful threat assessments and vulnerability assessments, then conduct adequate risk analysis to accurately determine the areas needing protection. Mr. Williams is skilled at developing effective countermeasures options for weak areas. He follows up implemented countermeasures with evaluations of those countermeasures to ensure OPSEC success. Due DiligenceMr. Williams has conducted in-depth due diligence investigations for east coast businesses wanting to expand to the southwest. He is very adept at using his analytical skills to find business "secrets" that could severely damage potential new partners or investors if left uncovered. Mr. Williams knows that every action of man is driven by MOTIVATION. If someone is wanting to take over a business or sell a business there is something critical driving that desire. Mr. Williams is astute at uncovering that motivation. Investigating FraudMr. Williams has assembled a talented staff of fraud investigators to comb over the tomes of paper to uncover those missing, hidden, or fraudulent entries. He is experienced at finding the crux of the problem whether it is laundering, skimming, or some other form of fraud. Some of the cases worked on by Mr. Williams have contained quite complex schemes but he was still able to discern the real facts from the mass of data provided Criminal DefenseJames Williams has worked on more than 1900 criminal and civil cases and has been involved with 80 murder cases of which 12 were noticed as death penalty cases. His experience as a criminal defense expert is exemplified in his work ethic and the conviction results of his cases. At one point Mr. Williams' diligent investigative efforts resulted in 19 of 40 defendants receiving total acquittal from their murder charges. Jim Williams has worked on both sides of the criminal investigation fence ...first as a counterintelligence agent and later as a criminal defense specialist. He knows how police officers and detectives think and he knows how criminals think. This affords Mr. Williams an edge when working on cases because he can evaluate the case by looking at how both sides are approaching the evidence. Mr. Williams has testified in criminal cases as an expert in the areas of photography, external ballistics of weapons, and vehicle lighting systems. Combat & Weapons TrainingJames Williams has served two tours of combat to include the Vietnam War and Operation Desert Storm. Mr. Williams has familiarized with various rifles, pistols, shotguns, machine guns, grenades, grenade launchers, mines, and light anti-aircraft and anti-vehicle weapons. Mr. Williams was a Morse code qualified radio and radio teletype operator in the northernmost province of Vietnam. Vehicle Accidents and Auto TheftJames Williams has been to a month-long course in Advanced Collision Repair with the Fischer Body Division of General Motors Corporation. He is quite knowledgeable in the areas of sheet metal damage, auto body repair, and methodology of auto thieves in altering vehicles for resale. Transportation/TruckingMr. Williams is familiar with the over-the-road trucking industry and has experience as a long haul semi-truck driver. He is keenly aware of terminal, dispatch, dock, spotting, weight, licensing, medical, hours, and load security issues. Mr. Williams also has vast experience in the tandem dump trucking industry and is familiar with issues critical to that industry.
